When I go into the backend and select components from the menu the redirects manager is missing. The redirect plugin is enabled and I can access the manager via the url - nnnnn/administrator/index.php?option=com_redirect.
I can see the component in the assets and components table but there is no entry in the menu table.
Thinking this was a corruption on my website, I then download and installed a clean version of Joomla. Again the menu item for redirect mamager is missing
