Hello!
I am trying to update a few Joomla 3 websites to 4 (and 5). I have done this to many websites before, so I know how it works.
However, now it seems that the "Joomla Next" update channel no longer offers the opportunity to update to J4. I have checked the update channels and the core ones are enabled. The Joomla update page tells me I already have the latest Joomla (3.10.12). Has anyone experienced something like this lately?
I have cleared the caches, logged out, tried reloading the update channels, and all the other usual things. Nothing seems to help.
Sidenote: One of these J3 sites has https://update.joomla.org/core/list.xml as the Joomla Core update channel, and on another site, it is https://update.joomla.org/core/sts/list_sts.xml which seems empty now. Anyway, neither of the websites offers J4 updates. Since the first mentioned XML link has content, I tried to change that into the database of another site that uses the ...sts.xml file, but that didn't help.
If the update software no longer works for some reason, is there a way to do this manually? Thank you for all help in advance!
